As the academic school year winds down and college students everywhere are either scheduling graduation photoshoots, applying to graduate schools, or making summer internship plans, I think it is necessary that we reflect on how far we have all come. Students stay tuned.
What are you getting ready for this summer?

Getting the dream job you want, a college acceptance, a scholarship, a research grant, or even a “YES” after a long line of “No’s” makes us feel happy and giddy inside. Who remembers how they felt when they first gained acceptance into their dream school? I know I was hooping and hollering all over my house. But today, I find myself reflecting on where the heck did the time go? Then I remember that COVID took it. As a soon-to-be fall graduate, I can say that my college experience certainly came with its highs and lows.
Good News! I was recently accepted into a study abroad program in London this summer. I know studying abroad will be the final critical point in my academic journey I need to bid college a farewell. I plan on documenting every aspect of it on SML so be sure to keep up. Anywho, this news comes after my first acceptance to France was canceled in 2020 and the world went radio silent. Now, I am just one "English" semester away from turning my tassel with the class of 2022.

Anyone traveling soon? Let me know below!
Graduating early was not always the goal. I mean, we all want to graduate with the class we started with but, at the end of the day, we're here to learn what works best for us. I have had the pleasure of taking part in fellowships, being in student leadership, and attending all the events that make college fun! Now, it's time to see what else life has in store.
Spring is a momentous occasion for students everywhere and I cannot wait to see how our new experiences will shape our lives and careers. This week marks my last semester at The Ohio State University, and it is truly bittersweet. I am grateful for everything OSU has offered me and can honestly say I will never be the same. Connect with me on LinkedIn so I can see where life takes you!
Congratulations to all the 2022 grads!

First of all, CONGRATULATIONS on your study abroad! Can't wait to see your experience all on SNL. But I definitely wonder where time went. We really were just freshmen and now we're about to graduate. COVID had a role to play, but I like to see it as apart of the journey instead of something that stole time away from me. I still had a lot of great experiences that came from living in a "COVID-era" world. Nonetheless, this summer I'll be interning at Micron Technology in D.C as a chemical engineer. I consider that travel because I'll be living somewhere I've only been to in passing for a month or so! I can't wait to catch up and hear…
Honestly this is so true! One second I’m a freshman moving in and the next I’m a whole senior😅 but I’m planning to travel, hopefully with an internship in D.C! Excited to see your journey in England!!!!!😁😁
This reflective post is everything. As a first year transitioning soon, this truly resonated with me. My Freshmen experience has actually also been bittersweet. Change is scary but sometimes we have to do the uncomfortable to grow as people. Congrats on your acceptance to study abroad! Please, please pickup the British accent, if only for your favorite niece :)! This summer I'll surely try to be more consistent with my own blog Lol. I loved this piece a lot!
