What is S.M.L. Anyway?

Naming a Blog can be hard work!

I came up with the title “Speaking My Language” on a random Tuesday sitting on the bus because it just naturally popped into my head.

Whenever we hear something so profound that we really, just truly agree with, we say that it was speaking our language! This idiom is a common form of slang in the U.S. and one that I say fairly often. This blog has been a looonngg project for me and the only thing keeping me back was an impactful title. Sure, I could have called it Tisha's Takes or Tall Tales From Tisha, but that just doesn't hit the same! Anywho, I found this title to be the most unique and captivating… don’t you agree?

What would the title of your personal blog be?

SML is a platform for me to express my personal opinions and hot takes on a wide range of issues (from college experiences to a heated debate on healthcare) with all of you. I believe that I am my best self when in a room talking and engaging with others about world-pressing problems. I hope to foster that same atmosphere here with SML and look forward to seeing whether or not you agree!
