Today, when you want to start documenting your experiences or share your opinions, it’s often customary to start a YouTube vlog channel, podcast, or TikTok. I mean, rarely do people in our generation start their own blogs.

Maybe it’s just too much work and writing to keep up with in our fast-paced society. Quite honestly, a video might just be easier! But I did not see that elusive vision for myself. I feel like everyone has a story to tell no matter how dull. Why? Well, I guess because it can be…

• A form of therapy

• A communication tool

• A learning or teaching opportunity

How do you share your story with others?

Look, I doubt my life filled with my niece and nephews, school, and at-home Netflix binging will be entertaining to watch. But a blog allows me to share my story in a neutral setting. I want to use my blog for all the three reasons I listed and more! I want to share lessons I’ve learned (still learning), talk with a nationwide audience, and wear my heart on my sleeve through my words. I am willing to bet that this will be the most effective medium for me and I hope you will enjoy reading what I have to say.
